Copies of the Book of Praise (Anglo-Genevan Psalter) were sourced by mr Douwe Drifjhout (tutor) and donated on 11 April to students of KCOT at Port Shepstone. The Book of Praise consists of a complete metrical version of the 150 psalms, a collection of scriptural hymns, the Apostles’ Creeds, the creeds of Nicea and Athanasius, the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism and the Canons of Dort. It is further complemented by proposed orders of worship, liturgical forms, form prayers and the Church Order of Dort. Mentioned doctrinal standards are often quoted in the training manuals and students expressed interest in the Book of Praise. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to members of the Canadian Reformed Churches. Used copies of the authorised provisional version of 2010 were donated and sent to Port Shepstone. Below are some pictures of mr Drifjhout handing out the books.
